Some smaller sub canopy trees will be felled on this property parcel, unlikely to affect bats as they are not crevice forming (Nikau, Ferns) but worthy to note if they have been recorded near by.

Auckland Council do not hold any bat records for this particular property. However, there are a few long-tailed bat records in the near vicinity on regional parkland that could mean long-tailed bats could be present in or around this property. Our best advice is to employ a qualified ecologist to check for bats before felling trees.
