Location of all places issued a sale of alcohol licence

Information including the actual street address where all alcohol licences have been issued too. XLS format would be perfect. With this list it will be possible to map and therefore visually see the true impact of how many licences are issued around various parts of the country

Not being able to see where all licences have been issued

Providing enough data to perform Geo mapping of the locations and therefore mashing the data with other things

Response from
Ministry of Justice

Other, please provide additional information

The Alcohol Regulatory and Licensing Authority (ARLA) maintains a register of all premises licensed to sell alcohol. While the Ministry of Justice provides administrative support to ARLA, ARLA is an independant judicial body and operates in a legislative environment. Access to the register is governed by the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, which states "any member of the public may, on payment of the prescribed fee, obtain from the secretary of the licensing authority an extract from a register". A request for information from the register can be made to ARLA@justice.govt.nz. The prescribed fee is $50 (plus GST), which is set under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol (Fees) Regulations 2013. MOJ
