ACC claims and costs related to flooding events in the Waikato region within the last 5-10 years. This needs to have a connection to a flooding event when filling out their forms. This could be minor or serious injuries, whether or not warranting medical treatment. Data which can be organised by flooding events, would be good. Breakdown by age too.

Understanding the cost of flooding events, for the Government, Councils, and residents. Would like to look at the costs of the direct impacts and the indirect impacts of the injuries caused by flooding. This is especially important now that climate change events is expected to increase in frequency and duration.

Understand the benefits (like avoided costs) of reducing flooding events by investing in flood protection infrastructure, in the short and long term.
