I am a Master of Analytics student at Massey University. My research focuses on road safety, analyzing crash data to identify trends and develop insights on costs associated with road crashes in New Zealand. The raw data associated with the graphs and tables presented at https://www.acc.co.nz/newsroom/media-resources/road-injury-statistics would be beneficial for my Master’s dissertation. On top of this data, I was just wondering if you have data on costs incurred based on the severity of the accident, like total claims for fatal accident, serious and minor. I would highly appreciate if I could also have a dataset associated with it.
One of my research problems is identifying the financial and social impact of accidents of varying severity and road type.
The dataset will be used for academic research to evaluate financial trends, demographic influences, and regional disparities related to road crashes. I'm looking at contributing to the road safety policy recommendations using my analysis.
