I would like records that shows a itemised breakdown of all the Hutt City Council expenditures for the financial years 2024 to 25 to date of request.

The Hutt city council raised rate by nearly 17% for 24/25 due to ‘urgent’ financial deficits. They are now projecting a further increase of over 13% for 25/26. I’m requesting to see, in detail, how the council is spending money due to growing concerns of either a lack of service prioritisation, financial mismanagement or wasteful decisions.

Increasing transparency and accountability for all council expenditure to rates and tax payers, in a time of regional economic hardship and a cost of living crisis.
