The National District Valuation Roll data available on the LINZ Data Service (LDS) now contains the bulk of zoning information, which will largely (but not completely) satisfy this request. This has resulted from a recent change made to fix a known issue which resulted in a number of fields not being available for the majority of Territorial Authorities. Data for this field and others is still missing for a small minority of Territorial Authorities, and we are working through the issues to improve data completeness for these Territorial Authorities. Please note that the data is still in pilot phase, and improvements to data quality are not being prioritised during this phase, so a complete fix for this may be some time away. Nevertheless the majority of District Valuation Roll data, which includes zoning data, is now available under restricted access only to Central and Local Government customers on the LINZ Data Service. A subset of the data is available under a CC:BY 4.0 licence on the LINZ Data Service.
