Fish Stocks

This report card reports the status of a fish stock compared to target level (usually the biomass needed to produce maximum sustainable yield). In future reporting, the Ministry will apply the new Harvest Strategy Standard for New Zealand Fisheries stock status categories, which are available for 2009 data onwards.
