- Wholesale trade statistics measure the sale or resale of new or used goods to retailers, including businesses or institutional users (including government). Available statistics include total wholesale stock and sales by quarter, storetype, and industry. Wholesale industries include primary product food (eg meat, dairy, fruit, and vegetables), builders' supplies, electrical and electronic equipment, petroleum products, and motor vehicles.
